Turns out there are some changes going on this year for Defcon badge hackers. Joe Grand, designer of the badge for the last 3 years has announced plans to pre-release some of the specs of this years design before the conference. (traditionally the badge details have been a big secret and eagerly anticipated until opening day)
My company has approved my training request for this years BlackHat and Defcon security conference August 2-10th’ish. This will be my third trip to BH/Defcon and my “I-stopped-counting-awhile-ago” trip to Las Vegas. Previous training included the reverse engineering class with Halvar Flake and the IDA Pro class with Chris Eagle. Both were very knowledgeable and covered a huge amount of information in a very short timespan (2 days).
